The roles we supply

Supply, not consultancy

Most firms competing for these searches sell consultancy and audits — advice delivered from their office. We supply the person. The officer, coordinator or supervisor is on your site, in your programme, under your supervision, and on our payroll.

That matters for three reasons: you are not managing a pass or a payroll, the deployment ends when the project does, and if someone is absent you ask us for cover rather than solving it yourself.

1. Which safety role does our project need?▾
It depends on the project’s size, type and risk profile, and on the conditions attached to the award. Send us the project details and we will tell you which role we would deploy and why — then confirm against MOM’s current requirements before appointing.
2. Can you supply more than one role to the same project?▾
Yes. Larger projects usually take a mix — an officer with coordinators and supervisors under him. One agreement covers the team.
3. Are these people employed by IET or by us?▾
They remain IET employees on IET’s payroll and passes, and work on your site under your project supervision.
4. Can we take someone part-time or for a short project?▾
Yes. Part-time, shared and fixed-duration appointments are all normal, subject to the conditions attached to your project.
5. Do you supply other trades on the same site?▾
Yes — construction workers, welders, electricians, scaffolders and general workers are often deployed to the same projects.
6. How are safety roles charged?▾
Day or monthly rate depending on the role, duration and shift pattern, with overtime handled separately.
