The roles

A resident engineer provides full-time site supervision on behalf of the qualified person appointed to the project. A resident technical officer supports that supervision on the ground, covering the works day to day.

Both appointments are tied to the project and its approval conditions. Confirm what your project requires against BCA’s current requirements before appointing.

What the appointee holds

We supply personnel who meet the qualification and experience requirements for the role they are deployed on, and we send their records before deployment for the project file.

How deployment works

  1. 1
Tell us the project — — type, value band, duration, and the role required.
  2. 2
We send — candidate profiles with qualifications and project history.
  3. 3
The appointee — is deployed to site for the duration of the works.
