Manage safe pedestrian track access and Engineering Consist (EC) or Passenger Vehicle (PV) movements within the project's Defined Areas (DA).
• Work collaboratively with the Works Train Ground Shunter (WTGS) and other personnel, as both positions are cross-trained and expected to function as a team.
• Be able to perform duties across various shifts, including the ability to work overtime and handle allocated shifts of the three-rotating 8-hour duty schedule.
• Work independently while also being able to take instructions from the Works Train Controller (WTCO).
• Take charge of, monitor, and control small work groups, ensuring that tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Handle situations, incidents, and accidents, and implement recovery measures as necessary.
• Report for duty during exigencies and provide necessary updates to the Works Train Manager (WTM).
• Conduct safety briefings related to Works Train operations to ensure all personnel are aware of safety protocols.
• Participate in training sessions and ensure that all personnel are adequately trained and compliant with safety and operational standards.

Requirements:
• Minimum local Diploma in engineering discipline or A-level with relevant experience.
• 5-years relevant past working experiences or equivalent local qualifications and subject to the acceptance from the Works Train Office.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office application and able to provide weekly reports to the WTM.
• Able to work independently and perform overtime work on a regular basis.
• Able to conduct safety briefings related to Works Train operation.
• Able to handle situations, incidents, and accidents and implement recovery measures.
• Able to lead and take charge of a team.
