Rolls and Responsibility:
• Ensure discipline among personnel and compliance with safety matters.
• Conduct spot checks on safety matters and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Cascade information, dispatch Works Train notices, and Operations Circulars to relevant personnel.
• Oversee daily Works Train operations and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Conduct frequent inspections or perform dispatch outside normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays, at no cost to the Authority.
• Work alongside the Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to evaluate and implement safety measures.
• Provide weekly reports to the Works Train Manager (WTM) and maintain communication regarding operational issues.
• Assist in the training and support of personnel to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
• Minimum local Diploma in engineering discipline or A-level with relevant experience.
• 5-years relevant past working experiences or equivalent local qualifications and subject to the acceptance from the Works Train Office.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office application and able to provide weekly reports to the WTM.
• Able to work independently and perform overtime work on a regular basis.
• Able to conduct safety briefings related to Works Train operation.
• Able to handle situations, incidents, and accidents and implement recovery measures.
• Able to lead and take charge of a team.
